Snorkelling at Hideaway Island, Port Vila, Vanuatu

Even getting a whole fish in the picture is an achievement.  What with the fish swimming fast, the photographer also moving in the water, the little compact camera, has to focus, then take the photo,  I get a fair number of fish tails!  I get pretty excited to achieve whole fish, with a reasonable degree of focus.

The fish photos were supposed to come after the island one, but they didn't load that way.
Amazing fish life!!! But saddened by all the dead coral.  There was live coral too, but for how much longer?  This place is a marine sanctuary (no fishing), but there is a  resort on the tiny island which has to be effecting the coral reef.
