Pied Stilt

At high tide at Blockhouse Bay beach, a large flock of oystercatchers and a few pied stilts fly in for a couple of hours.  I guess they spend the mid and low tide hours out on sand banks in the Manukau Harbour somewhere.  Look at those legs!
