Toroweap, Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is over a hundred miles long, and Toroweap, on the northern side, is one of the least visited access points.  This is because it has a long unsealed road and then a very rocky four wheel drive road to negotiate in order to get there.  The road ends at high cliffs right above the Colorado River, which looks very brown due to run off after the rains.

That's a yucca flower stalk (old) in the foreground.
