Angels Landing, Zion National Park

With an altitude gain of 1488 feet this trail is rated as 'strenuous'.  Quote "Long drop-offs.  Not for anyone fearful of heights.  Last section is a route along a steep, narrow ridge to the summit."

THE TOP.  I'm hanging on to that spindly little branch because the cliff behind me is sheer, all the way down to the river.

View from the top.  Not a good photo, taken into the sun.  Also my knees, hands, probably my brain also, were probably shaking.  That was one steep climb.

The easy part of the way down, known as 'Walter's Wiggles'.

Taken from the bottom looking back at what I'd climbed.
