Photos have the ability to "take you back" and provoke your memory into remember the circumstances surrounding the taking of the photo.  In this particular case, it was 8.30 am and stifling hot.  There were many occasions when I was hot in Africa, but this time I was in a city instead of the countryside and for some reason I didn't cope as well.  (And I generally like the heat!)
