Kodachrome Pass, Denali National Park

This was one of the stops on our 8 hour bus trip (one way) into Denali National Park.  It is also one of the places where the road is often closed for slips.  The hundred odd mile gravel road into the park is closed to private vehicles and is only open during the summer months.  The shuttle buses have to stop when they meet a bus coming in the opposite direction because the majority of the road is only wide enough for one.  If my memory serves me correctly, 72 buses drive the road during July, the busiest month.
