Coalmine Canyon

A multi-coloured canyon with hoodoos situated on Indian land.  It is accessed by an unsignposted dirt (sand) road and was completely deserted when we visited.  A hidden gem!

  1. Hoodoos are spires of earth formed by erosion. I'm not sure if it is only a term used in north america, or if in fact is a geographical term.
